LMC Games 2005 (16-18 Sept)

My company held its first Games event this year at Matsushita Sports Centre, Shah Alam. As one of the Main Organising Committee, we had to set up the stadium and ensure that every events go smoothly.
10 sports activities was scheduled over the weekend, like football, volleyball, netball, table tennis, badminton, tug-of-war, swimming, darts and bowling.
275 participants from all the operations in Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore came for the Games.
I am glad to say that the event went smoothly with a few small glitches, but overall it was a good effort!

Cherating here I come!!

I won a 3D/2N holiday trip to Legend Cherating courtesy of HSBC. So I went there on Sunday 28/8 till Tuesday 30/8.
My plane which was supposed to leave KLIA at 9.20am was delayed for more than 2 hours because of Merdeka celebration rehearsals, they grounded KLIA. The travel agent in Kuantan did not received info that I am coming to Kuantan and did not pick us up from the airport but luckily they provided me with the tour and my return transfers....At least we still managed to enjoy the beach and pool.
Note to self: Don't go to Kuantan on a Monday, all interesting places are closed!!! The Cultural Complex, The Turtle Santuary...all closed! 
Overall, it was a relaxing holiday with nothing to do......

Introducing.... Mellow

My elder brother bought Mellow, a TY beanie bear, for my sister a few years back.
Mellow is currently my younger brother and sister's favourite toy and they always play dress up with the bear and take pictures with it.

Lunch @ Montien, One Bangsar

Today, I met up with my friends at Montien at One Bangsar, a new 'happening' place in Bangsar. The restaurant is a banglo with interesting deco.
This Thai restaurant serves delicious thai food. We were there to celebrate Judy's birthday which falls on Monday 18 July.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUDY!!
I only managed to take pictures of the starters and desserts because when the main dishes came, we were cramped for space, so I kept the camera and forgot to take pictures of it. For 6 ppl, the bill was about RM40 per person, quite ok.
It has a nice ambience and ever helpful waiters and waitresses waiting on you and will also help entertain your child for you....
