My mom won an Astro food program contest which entitles the winner to a lunch for 10 at the recommended place.
Hers was Wei Kee Restaurant, famous for Roast Goose. The shop is not easy to find, located at Lorong Yap Hing, at Jalan Pasar, Kuala Lumpur, near Chin Woo Chinese School.
Parking was not easy and the traffic is quite congested. But the food was good.....

I took some shots of the food but not very stable pictures as I forgot to
'flash' it!

yummy yummy..kakakakaka... Fri 11-May-2007 09:09

I visited the Taman Tun park for the first time today and am amazed that
the upkeep and maintenance of the place is good.
Very flora & fauna, there is even a waterfall and suspension bridge.

Yes, very nice place indeed! Mon 16-Apr-2007 06:10

Annual Executive Conference 2007 - Sheraton Subang

My company held its Annual Executive Conference this year at Sheraton Subang for the executives and managers of my company. The theme for the event was "Quest for Excellence". The event was held 28 - 29 March 07. Participants was allocated teams basedon mountain names; Mt. Cook, Mt. Blanc, Mt. Fuji, Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. KK.

I was given Mt. KK (Orange Team).

Overall, the event was enjoyable as they have tried to make it more absorbable by having more presentations and sketches instead of talk, talk, talk, which could be very boring!
Here are some random shots of the events using my new SE K750i (Lance say I don't use it enough compared to him )

Elmo T.M.X.

Close up Elmo
Full size Elmo
Elmo and his suitcase
Elmo T.M.X. was launched in Malaysia on 10 March 2007. It comes in a nice cardboard box which is designed to look like a metal suitcase, and when you lift up the flab in front of the box, you can hear Elmo say "Elmo ticklish, Elmo ticklish in here!"

The retail price of Elmo TMX is RM239 and available only at Parkson. For Bonuslink members, you can get Elmo for only RM199.

I saw the youtube of Elmo TMX many, many times, and I just think that this toy is damn adorable! So, even though I may be an old kid, but I bought Elmo and I love it!

Finally managed to upload the video, with my new K750i Sony Ericsson handphone

Me & the Duracell Bunny

Bunny power!
I was at Alamanda Putrajaya with Lance and his brother Simon, at a Shell Charity Event on Sunday morning where Shell sponsored a fun day for 3 orphanage; Rumah Shalom, House of Joy and Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM). There were sand-art painting, PS 2 competition, giant playhouse and bowling for them. The event will be featured in Lance Chee Photography soon.

After the event, we went to the Carrefour nearby and walk around a bit. We came upon this pink furry Duracell rabbit, who was making promotional appearance. Had to take a picture with it as it is sooooo cute!

Ever wondered why the battery uses a rabbit to be it's mascot? Hmmm..... "Last longer"......hee hee hee

Ha ha ... good point. Tue 19-Dec-2006 01:03

Lance & Janet finally got married!

After 5 years of dating and knowing each other for more than 15 years, we finally made it official!

We registered our marriage at the Klang Hokkien Association on 9 Dec 2006 with our families and friends at our side.

I think those who attended will agree that our group was the one that takes the most photographs that afternoon....what to do... special occasion mah!

Special thanks to my sister, Christine, for handling the camera for me this round!

We would like to thanks our friends; Andrew, Hooi Min, Jen, Joyce, EJ, Alan, Jenny, Annie, Gary and Alice for making their valuable presence at the registration. We really appreciate it!

Lance & Janet, congratulations !! We'll be waiting for the dinner date....cheers!!!! Wed 3-Jan-2007 06:45

The bride stayed at Hotel Histana in Klang for the event. The entourage left my cousin's house and proceeded to the hotel.

This is the first time that I saw the groom heng tais not get tortured as in many other weddings. The groom was made to eat a piece of biscuit and that's it, give angpow and door opens!

Last weekend, I attended my cousin's wedding in Klang.

Helped out in the morning activities and evening dinner as well.

I was testing out my photography skills by taking some key events using the Olympus C770.
Of course, nicer pictures can be found at http://lance.fotopages.com

Congratulations to Hong Keong & Reea!

You've got a couple of "gems" as well! Nicely done. First instinct (for me) for "Snoopy couple??" was buy number... hahahahah Tue 28-Nov-2006 01:10
