I have migrated! See my photos at my new website

It has been a very eventful fotopages time since I joined. Nowadays, there are many websites sprouting out boasting unlimited spaces and such.... You can't help but be influenced to try new things.

As a result, I have now shifted my photo posting to my new Multiply account as it also allows video posting.

Eu Yan Sang contest

My mom qualified for the finals in the Eu Yan Sang "Unforgettable Moments" contest and had her entry displayed in a poster at Eu Yan Sang outlets for voting.

I went to the 1-Utama Eu Yan Sang outlet just to look at the picture.

If you are in Malaysia, please drop by the nearest Eu Yan Sang outlet and vote for her, ya!

Only in Putrajaya, you can see all these funny infrastructures being erected. It sure does not look like it is going to serve any specific purposes other than boosting a HUGE ego!

p.s. check out the last photo: contributed by a Star Wars fan, Lance Chee http://lance.fotopages.com ....shows how futuristic pic#2 can be!

Ha ha ha ha! Just like how I imagined it! Thank goodness for Google and Photoshop! Wed 30-May-2007 01:43

Lance's elder brother registered his marriage today at Putrajaya.

I followed along and took some pictures for fun. As you can see in the photos, my camera is small compared to the ones carried by Lance and Siang Ching's bro, both professionals....

Registration at Putrajaya is quite interesting as they provide a small private room, ok, not that small, can fit many, many people to witness the event.

CONGRATULATIONS to the love birds!

Congratulations! They are lucky to have you "shooting" them! Wed 30-May-2007 00:11

CFO Conference at IOI Marriot Putrajaya

Don't you wonder why these hotels call themselves a certain location but actually located at somewhere else? For example, IOI Marriot Putrajaya is located at Kajang not Putrajaya, Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur is located at Subang airport not KL. Equatorial Putrajaya is located at Bangi!!! What is wrong with these people?????

Anyway, my CFO conference was held for the first time this year at IOI Marriot from 24-25 April for the executives & managers reporting under the Chief Financial Officer. It was an interesting conference, where we were briefed on the issues and going-ons of the company and to share ideas on many topics. There was also a bowling session thrown in for our pleasure. Overall, the conference was a good way to get the people together and away from the office! Kudos to the organiser! Can we have the same thing next year please??

Thanks for the clarification, Lance! I was trying to find the name of the car, but could not remember the spelling. Ok, so it is not antique...... but sure looks grand! Fri 27-Apr-2007 07:18

OMG! It was sooooo hot! and I was soooo afraid to get dark as I will be having some photos taken next week.... I practically had to cover up! I wore a long sleeve shirt (borrowed from Lance), don sunglasses and cap, jeans and sports shoes and hid in the shade for the whole duration. I think I was the most over-dressed person there!

Lance on the other hand, stayed outdoors for the whole time taking photos and ended up with a black face and lobster look.

Malacca short trip

On Saturday, we went down to Malacca for a short trip and stayed at Equatorial Hotel Malacca.

As we are very adventurous in food, we took a cab to Capitol satay celup for dinner and later proceed (walked) to Mdm King's alley for a few plates of cockles, mussels, etc. Yummy! The next morning, we have the famous chicken rice balls and cendol in Jonker's Street and left Malacca.

The main purpose for the short trip was actually for Lance to see a drift event that was organised by Drift.com.my at A'Famosa Waterpark where his colleague, Timothy, is a participant. However, by the time we reached the place, Tim had already finished his session and the pro event was starting. We stayed on for 3-4 hours watching the event. See next posting

Visit to Istana Negara

My family played tourist to Istana Negara this afternoon as we have always visited the change of guards at other countries, we decided to see our own.
There were many tourists from China and Korea who was at the location. The Istana Negara has 2 guards on standby outside the gates and 2 horsemen at the gate as well. Most of the tourists took picture with the white horse but ignored the brown one. We decided to take pictures of the brown horse and outside the gates.

The change of guards as expected was not as impressive as those that you see in Taiwan or Beijing. In fact, it was extremely short!

Some random shots that I took:
